We understand that each person has both a physical body and a soul that are intertwined to make you uniquely you. We want you to thrive, so we care about both your physical and emotional well-being. This is why we also offer manual therapy and therapeutic yoga to help you deal with physical and emotional stress.
Manual therapy is a gentle yet effective way of removing restrictions and hindrances from the body to manage or prevent pain and restore function and mobility. Contact us to learn more.
Yoga is an effective tool that, when practiced over time, aids in healing some chronic illnesses, injuries, and trauma-induced psychological pain. Yoga can also promote wellness when individuals actively engage both the body and the mind.
At Foundations Direct Care, our yoga therapy class sizes are intentionally limited so that clients can receive the maximal benefit of personalized yoga instruction coupled with craniosacral manual therapy to promote healing and stress management. Our desire is to make the therapeutic aspect of yoga accessible to people of all stages of life. Contact us to learn more.
The original Sanskrit word “yoga” (योग) translates to mean “union” or “yoke.” It is our hope that through yoga therapy, individuals will find a place of healing and peace where they can confidently understand, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
